What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Do you have any traditions? Go in to detail about your plans for the 5 day weekend.


This year for Thanksgiving my family is coming in from out of town to my house. Usually in the past we have gone to my grandparents house but they have recently moved leaving my family the only one left in Kansas City. For the 5 day weekend i plan to spend time with family, as well as friends. I also plan to eat a lot of food.

Go out and look up a what all goes on a resume website. What can you find? Include an example image if possible.

A resume is a way to show all of your skills, accomplishments, or experiences to give to a potential employer to explain what type of person you are. It also includes basic things such as name or contacts information. Also, a resume website should include things such as your extracurricular
activities whether they are at school or not as well as your previous or ongoing education. When creating a resume website make sure to keep your information professional and dis include any extra information such as your pets.

User Experience- the overall experience of a person using a product such as a website or computer application, especially in terms of how easy or pleasing it is to use.

User experience is is the experience of someone using something such as a website like the one's we've created in web design. User experience can also be a reflection of how you felt about a product like the website you had the experience with whether it was good or bad.

I think this quote means that the way things look aren't always as simple as they seem. For example, in web design you have to type in a series of codes to have a certain outcome which could also be called how it works relating it to web design,.

Reflect on your learning this semester so far in this class. Think about the first day you walked in to this room until right now. What have you learned about Web Design? What have you learned beyond Web Design? Explain yourself.

Since the first day in web design I have learned a lot. Things like coding made no sense to me a couple months ago and now it is easy. This class i learned you need to be a good problem solver and to not give up because when creating web pages it is very easy to mess up due to the precise coding you need.

This weekend I went to a party with my friends on Friday for Halloween. I dressed up as a doctor and it was pretty fun. Saturday I didn't do very much besides just hang out with my friends. On Sunday I sat around my house and watched football.

I have used photoshop just a couple different times and it was when i was in middle school around 7th and 8th grade. Besides that i do not have much of a background with any other editing or designing software.

I think the perfect curriculum for the life you want to live would consist of all of the classes we normally take in school but i think after middle school you should be allowed to stop taking some of these classes such as history to help focus on something you would like to do with your life. I am not sure what i would take because i dont know what i want to do with my life yet but it would be somewhat similar to what i already take in school.

I think this article has a good point and I agree with everything said in it. If girls are showing off more than teacher would like for whatever reason it still shouldn't be their responsibility to worry about what they are wearing. Also, it is said that it can be a distraction to boys if a girl is wearing clothes that don't cover up. I believe is this problem is a distraction the boy who is supposedly being "distracted" should learn to control himself and not let a girls shoulder be a distraction.

This weekend I didn't do anything special besides watch the Chiefs and Royals games with my friends. It was fun to see the Royals actually do good for once and to see all of the fans get excited about them being in the playoffs for the first time in forever.

This weekend I went to homecoming with Natalie Rapken. We all took pictures at Lionsgate then ate dinner at Gaslight Grill. After dinner we decided not to go to the dance and went straight to the after party.

This weekend I went to the football game with my friends and went to my friend Tanners house afterwards. On Saturday i hung out with my friends again and watched a little bit of college football. On Sunday I didn't do too much besides watch the NFL games.

Now that you are several weeks in to this class and have coded one (super small) website, what do you think? What are your thoughts on web design? Is it what you thought it would be? Is it better? Worse? What's your favorite part? What's your least favorite part? Explain

After being in this class for while now i find it cool that i can type in a certain code to make something just appear on a website. I do enjoy doing that but do not like how complicated it can be with all of the codes. It is similar to what i had expected but not exactly. My favorite part is being able to customize it exactly the way i want it to be and my least favorite part is how easy it is to forget one small thing and nothing will work.

What is the importance of deadlines? How do high school deadlines reflect or simulate "real world" experience? Give an example of when you met or or didn't meet a deadline that was important.

Deadlines are very important in both school and the real world. In both cases deadlines mean you should have something completed in a certain amount of time by a certain date. It's important to accomplish whatever needs to be accomplished before the deadline in high school so you develop good habits of doing the same in the real world when it matters most at something like your job where you may not have extra time. A time I didn't meet the deadline was when we had a big project in school that i ad forgotten to do but luckily unlike the real world usually I got more time.

This quote is saying if you do not prepare for something you should prepare for it is only setting you up to fail whatever you are doing. This problem happens to me a lot in school mainly on tests. The most recent time where this problem came up was on my anatomy final because I didn't study at all which only mad me not do good on the test.

This quote is saying that you should never complain about not having anything to do when you have a whole world or even your whole mind to still explore and entertain yourself. And if this isn't what you would like to do to entertain yourself then you shouldn't complain about being bored because there is always something to do.

This weekend before I went to the Blue Valley football game, my friend Tanner and I mowed 2 yards on Friday and then hung out with some of my friends before and after the game. On Saturday I went to the gym in the morning and then hung out with my friends all day again. that is how my weekend went.

If I were in my 70's or 80's I think I would complain most about kids not getting off of technology, especially their cell phones. The reason I would complain about this is because if I were that old I wouldn't have grown up with all of this technology so I wouldn't be the biggest fan of it. Also, i would complain about kids always getting whatever they want because they beg and beg to their parents until they can.

This Labor Day weekend I didn't do very much besides hangout with my friends and go to the gym. While I was with my friends we hung out at each others houses and played frisbee golf one day. After all, I had a pretty good weekend with my friends and had a lot of fun. That is how my Labor Day weekend went.

I think this article might be a little too much because everyone needs to have some free time and have fun to make life not so stressful. To a certain point this article is true because eventually everyone does have to grow up but you should enjoy your time when you're younger.

Tell me if you agree with this statement and then explain why or why not. "Images on the internet are 'free game' - if someone posted it, I should be able to use it.

I agree with this statement because it is the photographers decision to put the image on the internet in the first place and if you put something on the internet you should expect someone in the world too use it even if the photographer didn't agree with it.

My name is Justin Smith and I'm a junior at Blue Valley. I play baseball for the school as well as for another team outside of school. So far this year my favorite teacher is Mr. Scardino for U.S History. This school year I'm looking forward to learning about colleges that I'm interested in and taking tours.

What do you know about Web Design right now? What did you know about Web Design before you walked in to this class? Tell me as much as you can about how web pages work. Try to use an example if possible.

I now know how to code in html/css and how to create a blog or a personal website. Besides that I do not know very much about web design and hadn't in the past either. In order for web pages to work you have to type a certain code that needs to be exact or else it will not have the outcome that you had expected. Also, with every code that you use you need to start it with an opening with something like <_> and end every code with a closing such as </_>.
